Sequel/prequel/remake?

I am still very sad over the fact that this show is over. There really isn't anything like it. That being said, I would like to see either another series or movie(s) about a prequel to The Sopranos (starring another actor as young Tony), a sequel, or a remake of the show.

If they do, who do you think they can cast as Tony? Obviously no one could replace Gandolfini, but there's enough talent in Hollywood to do a suitable job.

It is too bad a movie sequel couldnt be done while james gandolfini was still alive.

Whenever they had flashbacks of Tony's parents and Uncle Jun in the 50's or 60's, I always thought that would of made a good prequel spin-off show, a show about the rise to power of Tony's father would of been interesting.
