I love this movie too, and I can't understand why everyone hates it. It really is...great.

Everyone hates it? As I read these posts, I get the impression everyone, or at least most people liked it. I, however, hated it, or at least the first fifteen minutes I forced myself to endure before I stopped watching. It must have become really, really good after that. Just my luck.

I liked it. Much more flamboyant and over the top than the TV movie. I don't think Bette looked as much like her as Michele Lee did in her version...and at times I see more Bette than Jackie Susann, but Michele lacked the camp factor that the real Jackie had. Lots of fun!

I love this movie very much. I can't believe how long it took me to discover it.
It's mostly silly and over the top. But wasn't that the point? :-)

I have a terrible allergy. Vodka makes my clothes fall off.

A friend of mine gave this DVD to me as a gift  .

I'm just watching this film right now and it's a riot
it does have a bit of everything IMPO -
a dramatically funny yet sad at the same time storyline ,
an all star 1970's & 80's cast , the clever music , the past setting , the fine clothes ,
and the classic automobiles  .

I agree great movie indeed and gave this one a 10   .
