Holy *beep* I once was at a comic book store when I was little, and they were selling Dr. Cloaw action Figures. I remember They put a whole bunch of stickers on it, so that you would have to buy to toy in order to see what his face looked like. It was in Denver though.

Rupert Everett was a much better face, in my opinion.

OMG,that is halarious!!!! I used to Love to watch inspecter gadget when I was a little kid,and I've always wondered what he really looked like,it made me laugh out load when I saw that and read it!

I'm a 13 year old hormone-crazed teenager and I'm proud! lol

After seeing that picture, I feel like someone took my childhood and said "All of your hopes and dreams are less than you expected."
How completely disappointing. Much like other kids that watched this show, with the sound of his voice, I thought he had a mask shaped like the MADD logo. Wow. I don't think I will ever get over that picture.

Tony Martin did a good role al to do that itself not him look the face on the other hand Rupert Everett ruined it all because removed him the originality of the cartoon. And it Cape man?

I saw bits of this trash the other day i could'nt bring myself to watch it. Its set in america when Gadget is French the cartoon is french i believe. And played by someone who looks and acts in no way like inspector gadget. And the car that talked was BS how come gadgets car was a pimpmobil hmmm. Rupert why even bother doing this your a good actor dont dirty your career with this travesty. Even if i were still a kid i would enjoy this rubbish children are much better than this its rubbish avoid at all costs.

The original pilot was drawn in France by a French company (which ended up a US company) but was never intended to be just a French cartoon.

In fact the majority of the animation was done in Canada / Japan / Taiwan.

As far as where the cartoon is set, Inspector Gadget's home is intentionally ambiguous because it's aimed at numerous nations. It's meant to feel like he lives in the viewer's own country or whatever location they decide choose.

I always thought Claw's arm was bigger anyway and that he possibly had a mask which made his voice to evil.

Pah! That's not Claw! You think a man so concerned with hiding his identity would make his face so easy for just anyone to see? Sure DIC THOUGHT they were accurately representing his image, but OBVIOUSLY he had decoys planted. I doubt his henchmen even knew what he looked like; Madcat is probably the only living creature who ever will. The Dr is cunning like that, and this is largely the reason he remains at large even today.

That's right, I said it. What? You thought this whole war with Iraq thing was about some small time loser named Sadam Hussian? *beep* no. Somewhere out in the Middle East, Dr Claw's escaping in his own private jet, shouting "I'll get you next time Bush! Next tiiiiiime!"
