He was probably giving a regular emoticon instead of using IMDb's one. Although for a person's first movie, maybe the person has low expectations since there are almost no expectations?
How old was the OP when he saw this and how would he rate it? I wonder if a person can know for sure if it was the first movie he or she saw. A person could watch a movie as a baby and yet have no recollection of it. Just mentioning.
lol
I don't remember the first movie I ever saw =(
Although I don't think anyone could remember what was the first movie they ever watched (unless that person never had a TV until they became an adult), most can probably remember the first movie they ever watched in a theater.
The very first movie I saw in a drive-in was Back to the Future (1985), which was a double program with Weird Science. I also remember the first movie I saw in a theater, which was several years later.
The first movie I remember having watched in my living room was Ghostbusters, which my father rented.
I do remember which movie my son watched entirely for the first time. Was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000 with Jim Carrey). I would think he was 3yo at the time. At that age, very few movies can get their attention long enough.
the first movie i remember ever having watched was "up and cummers" with jenna jameson, i was 4 years old.

Well for me - Matthew Broderick as Inspector Gadget was the first conscious crush I ever had. I was around 9 back then. I obsessed so much over him, luckily we had just gotten a computer and I managed to find pictures with him from the movie and have my mom print them out, so then I would carry them around with me and look at them and stroke them and kiss them... lol Fun times. :D
shareOne of the first I ever saw (on VHS).
