There are several other films that were produced by Earl Owensby, the same guy who released this film. Like this movie, these were originally shown in 3-D. Unlike this film, however, none of these others have to date been released on DVD, so hopefully you haven't thrown out your VCRs. These are extremly hard-to-find films, so your best bet for getting them may be to visit the website www.earlowensby.com and buying them online. They are:

CHAIN GANG (1984)
Supposedly based on a true story, about an innocent man wrongfully imprisoned who tries to escape.

HIT THE ROAD RUNNING
DUKES-OF-HAZARD homage, about a deputy working behind the scenes to rescue his rural home town from the iron fist of a ruthless, wealthy and powerful loan shark.

DOGS OF HELL
After an army convoy truck crashes six rotweilers that have been bred as anti-personel killers escape and terrorize the nearby small town.

TALES OF THE THIRD DIMENSION
Horror/comedy anthology where in a cemetary a living talking skeleton and his talking vulters who have personalities similar to the three stooges and Laurel and Hardy persents three stories: A vampire couple adopt a little boy who, unknown to them, is a completly different type of monster. A pair of grave robbers enter some underground catacombs with some deadly surprises. Finally, two young children are left to spend the holidays with their grandmother, with a dark secret: if she doesn't have proper medication, she goes dangerously insane. And she's almost out of pills...

I don't think that Hyperspace was originally one of his 3-D movies (I could be wrong), but many of the others were. Chain Gang, Dogs of Hell (Rottweiler), and Tales of the Third Dimension are all now available on DVD as is Hyperspace. Hit The Road Running is not available on DVD yet that I know of. The conversions are not really great here; they look as though they were converted from SVHS master tapes, but if you are buying any of these for the amazing picture or sound quality then you are missing the point. They are on DVD-R masters which leads me to believe that EO Studios are duplicating these themselves rather than getting masters duplicated, but they are authentic and legal. I have a complete collection of EO productions on DVD that I bought from Earls son Rhett, who also told me that they are all now available on DVD. Hyperspace alone is worth viewing for the Chris Elliott performance that is wonderful.
