an angel?


he help the people in the rest house, that doesn´t made hi an angel of course but, how he knew that the rain was going to stop? he said he just knew, maybe hi doesn´t know that he is a miracle of good, besides he is so inocent and pure.

»The argument about the rain was a strongly made point in the movie. The rain stopped almost as if by Gideon's command. When asked if he knew for a fact it were going to stop raining (and contrary to all the advice of all the weather experts) he confidently said yes.

»He claimed he could hear the plants talking back to him.

»He calmed the customarily vicious doberman which, demonstrably, no one else could do.

»The wild reindeer walked up to him and sniffed him.

»More than once Gideon was aware of Jean's presence without seeing her.

»Gideon's rose bush was the first (and only, when shown) bush to flower.

»The effect Gideon had on every other nursing home resident was undeniably a powerfully positive one.

Sure Gideon died at the end, and angels are eternal and never die. Gideon was not a literal angel, but I think should rightly regarded as a figurative one.
