Orson Welles planned Julius Caesar as a one-man show

I had assumed that the absurd notion of a one-man "Julius Caesar" production was a fantasy creation of "Free Enterprise". But it seems that Orson Welles was working on such a project at the time of his death.

On the morning on Welles' death [October 10, 1985], they were to begin filming "Julius Caesar" with Orson playing all of the parts himself. Two days previously the stage had been pre-lit at UCLA Theatre Arts Department.
