Very relatable for me.

Okay, my Lastday is approaching (gonna turn 30 very, very soon), and I just had to watch this film, again. AWESOME! Haven't watched this one in quite a long while, and it's so terribly enjoyable. I can easily relate to a lot of the film's subject matter (partly due to me being an independent, broke filmmaker). Mark's comment about thinking he'd be further along in life by the age of 30 rings true with me, but hey, make the most of today.

I also realize that I would speak so much more like the characters in the film if I had more friends that would actually get my pop culture references. I have maybe two, and I don't see them often at all. This film is so immensely quotable!

And if I could more regulaarly afford it, I'd still be buying comics today.

I first ever saw this film on cable what seems like eons ago, and spent YEARS looking for the DVD in stores. So, glad that Anchor Bay released that extended edition a few years ago. This is a very cherished part of my 400+ titles in my DVD collection.

You are not alone, My Youger Friend... LastDay was a while back for me (ummm...20 years...ish?,) but I've never laughed harder or more consitantly at any other movie. I don't buy movies as a rule. THIS was a MUST have! Just watched it again over the weekend...and still found myself clutching my sides & wondering if I was going to succumb to a coronary from laughing... Friends/acquaintances aside, I still pepper my daily verbage with obscure referrences. Cuz it makes ME laugh. If the collective Philistines don't get them...their loss... Carry on the good fight, My Brother...
