The soundtrack is great.
Love this movie like some others here. Just noticed nobody has mentioned the great music that is in it. A good soundtrack can make a good movie better and IMO that is definitely the case here.

shareI like the violin piece that was played over and over again.
And you?
Yes, Jerry4444: the soundtrack is great and astonishing, but I beg your attention. Running time 1 hour and 4 minutes, the first 5 or 6 notes (or chords), violin piece, sounds very, very much similar (or equal) to italian THE CONFORMIST (1970, director Bernardo Bertolucci, soundtrack by Georges Delerue; listen to WALTZ OF THE CONFORMIST). To be confirmed.
Ronaldo.
Thanks, romasotti-55592 for the info. Perhaps i should try to liok for that song.
Could it be a coincidence or are you hinting the musicians of plagiarism? ;o
Jacques Morelenbaum and Antônio Pinto are famous and respectable musicians and so I think in coincidence. I'm not a musician and I don't know how many sequencial chords are necessary to confirm a plagiarism. Did you listened to WALTZ OF THE CONFORMIST? It's available in youtube (soundtrack of The Conformist).
By the way, in your last message you wrote LIOK: what is this?
Sorry for my poor and bad english.
You're absolutely right. I was just about start a thread. The opening part is totally similar to the Conformist's theme. I think it was by Georges Delerue. Every time I was hearing that tune, it took me back to Bertolucci's masterpiece. It's one of my favourite films. This one's amazing too. But the theme is same. The first few portions (I don't know the musical terminology)
