My little brother thinks that Hilary Duff's voice in this movie is a little annoying, especially her laugh. I tell him, "Give her a break, she was only 10 years old!" What do you guys think, you think her voice was annoying in this movie. I don't necessarily think so but I just wanted everybody else's opinion.

Her voice wasn't annoying. I think people might find it annoying 'cause they probably saw Lizzie McGuire before Casper Meets Wendy and her voice was TOTALLY different!

Well, I thought she was adorable. I remember seeing Agent Cody Banks, and then seeing Hillary Duff. I think that was the first time I'd seen her, since Capser Meets Wendy. I was up all night thinking, why did that girl seem so familar, then it hit me. AHHHHH THE KID FROM CAPSER MEETS WENDY. lol. I thought she was adorable.

shareI thought Hilary Duff's voice was perfect. It had that cute-as-heck little girl chipmunk quality, that so differentiates a child's voice from an adult's. But then being an adult now that is what I think. Maybe I would have thought otherwise when I was a young teenager. I don't know.
But I loved it and thought her vocal qualities greatly enhanced the movie because too many movies today hire women to play young teenager parts...and truely that it such a bad-casting foul-up. So yeah for me...Wendy/Hilary was the perfect choice because of her winsome cute looks, her fun bubbly demeanor and that sweet voice.
I totally agree with you snapper... her voice was so cute!! Now i'm a 16 year old guy and dont really care for Hilary's music, but i have to say.. not only is she definatly girl friend matierial in my book (i dont have a crush on her or anything, just rating the possibilities), but she is definatly really sweet in this movie. I give her performance a 10/10

shareDuff's a fab actress, but saw her as lizzie maguire for 1st time a couple of weeks ago, and even in that her voice has a squeaky quality. in casper she sounds like a mouse on helium. pity, because otherwise she's quite charming.

shareshe was so cute! Her acting blew me away. She hadn't even hit puberty yet. Of course little girls have high-pitched squeaky voices. I mean, especially girls, should realize that unless you intentionally speak deeply, you wouldn't be able to suppress the highness of your voice.

With regards to the movie, I don't find Hilary's voice to be annoying at all. I do find that posters spelling to be annoying.

shareA little squeaky!!!? A little??? it sounds like she had 8 tanks of helium. At 10 years old I think she could have controlled the pitch of her voice. not that hard to do. It was worst when she got mad or excited, Truly gives me a headache.
