The ending fight scene is probably the best fighting sequence I've ever seen (another close one is the last fight in Superfights). Also I dug the story, characters (YOU BASTARD!), and the rest of the fighting is great as well. Super movie!
shareBloodsport is one of my favorite movies so needless to say Bloodfight is a close second! I think of Bloodfight as an unofficial Japanese sequel to Bloodsport. My favorite part of the movie was Bolo Yeung’s return as the villainous Chong Lee (Li). This is a classic martial arts revenge movie with a great hero. I love Kurata as an older hero who has to comes out of retirement to avenge his student’s death. I also loved the training scene; it was just like Rocky IV, but unfortunatly with no “hearts on fire.” But I loved the arrogant Chong lee’s lavish high gym training compared to Kai’s rustic/ wilderness training. Plus the closing credits and theme song were AWSOME! A great Asian 80’s ballad while the hero walks of into the sun set. This movie has a great story, great fight scenes, great music, and a great cast! Bloodfight is escapist martial arts heaven!
