Was this the series where the guy gets stuck on a landmine with the music from Pachelbel in D
shareI do believe you are right. One episode was intercut with a guy on a mine. As i recall (and this was 20 years ago!) the music was Air on a G String (though I may be mixing this up with a cigar advert) not Pachabels whatsits name. Either way I think this is definate the series your thinking of, and it certainly had some sort of populist classical music. As i remember it was rather good. But then again I was young then...

What a series! I assume you were young too then? Got to admit tv was better then than now! Crappy animated programmes etc when we had the original Transformers! No comparison!
