"Normans Conquest" The one where Norman fights his old foe Spike that killed Normans father many many years ago. The best part is at the end where Norman has Spike backed up against the edge of a cliff and Spike says "If you kill me, you'll be no better then me" to wich Norman replies in his sardonic stone cold killer tone "I can live with that". Classic!

mine had to be the spider episode where we first realize (to the best of my knowledge anyway)normans only fear, bugs.besides the fact that it took place in seattle, it was hilarious to see norman although visibly scared of the things, try to keep is tough guy bravado going. classic.

My one would have to be where they go to fight the one dragon, I think it was called the doom dragon. And Norman had the hammer and helmet of Thor. And the Viking Necromancer. That was probably the best cartoon of a dragon I have ever seen.

another great one was when skull master awoke all the zombies of atlantis (whose souls were trapped in the crystal), and we learn about what happened to all the previous mighty ones

I second this being the greatest of them all...they were creepy looking.

Mine was "the Magnificint seven" they go around and round up all the heros around the world and each one give s a bit of advice to max to help him break the cyrstal of stolen soals. They all end up dying in the end to save max norman and virgil.

My favorite episodes is when max goes with his mom to Hattie and those parasites turned all the town people into zombies. Or the episode with the demon that was chained to a tree until it was freed from lumber jacks. the demon with his huge ax actually killed that familey in that cabin, now that was dark.

'The magnificent seven' without any doubt, it still inspires me in a way
this is an episode not without small mistakes,(i refer to beowulf's helmet dissapearing at times, the icon at the end- where did he get all those items,...) but very beautifully depicted. How Max inspires each hero to regain his/her old skills/self-confidence and vice versa.
I'll also never forget the reasoning of Hanuman with Max as he goes into conflict with Virgil's beliefs.
They all died for him... which is a sad but beautiful thing to do at the same time...

I like Norman centered episodes. So the Spike episode and the guy chained in the tree with the mask and axe were both awesome. Also the magnificent seven was sweet. The heroes died for him. What I never understood was why they couldnt all jump for the portal. In the beginning he needs to use a dragon or norman's chain sword but in later episodes he can just jump to it. Seems the heroes may have died in waste, except the monkey king.

Also, the show has been known for its dark content. Many people actual die in the beginning of episodes before Max saves the day. It has alot of dark moments.

Edit: Norman is afraid of spiders specifically, not all bugs.

I forgot what the title was, but I do remember Bea was involved in the story. She entered the portal along with Max. Can anyone tell me the title of it? It's been a while since I last saw the episode and I don't remember everything about the episode.

If theres any 90s show that needs a DVD set its this one

So many episodes I only remember after reading descriptions but the two I remember most are the finale and the one with clay/blob/golum thing that absorbed anyone that it touched

There was just something about that visual with all of the faces of the people trapped in the monster that creeped me out

I like the one with the mosquito woman...it wasn't my favorite, but I thought their take on vampires was interesting (mosquitos rather than bats).

"The Magnificent Seven" was definitely fantastic--Beowulf and Hannuhman were SOLID GOLD, w/ Beowulf as the washed-up, self-doubting, Scandinavian pro wrestler and Hannuhman as the reluctant former hero who'd pretty happily spend his immortality pretending to be a common monkey among other monkeys (In a ZOO, wasn't it?). So much about it was really funny, really dramatic, and, at times, even fairly poetic. I got a little twinge of excitment from the moment where Beowulf seizes Warmonger and says something like, "Let me show you a trick I taught my old friend Grendel," and the action is only viewed as a shadow, but Warmonger screams in agony as Beowulf rips his arm off! You gotta love something like that from a mere syndicated cartoon (that sadly not enough people were paying attention to). I have the ep on vhs as part of "The Skullmaster Trilogy," but I won't fire it up to refresh myself on it for fear that the tape will finally disintegrate [f_cking sh_tty archaic technology]. Need to just snag the series online, somewhere, but I still feel like it DESPERATELY needs an official DVD release.... and, yeah, I KNOW there's a thread about that, already..

I have to hand it to Dawn of the Conqueror Norman fighting that lion dude to live for another 10,000 years was sweet. Also I almost forgot The Axeman Cometh even Norman can't stop Locknarr.
