We still have to hear from charmedwon666 and wlcebtg. Come on, where are you, guys???

SUGGESTIONS UPDATED BY SEPTEMBER 1ST

But time is up. Here are the chosen (at least so far) shows for consideration in alphabetical order.

Well we have plenty of choices! Rank your top three so we can have 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The winner will be announced on Friday 5th evening. And in case our latecomers want to include another show on this list, let me know the soonest possible, please.

These are the suggested shows (so far) in alphabetical order:

- Alien Nation (1989)
- Battlestar Galactica (1978)
- FlashForward (2009)
- GCB (2012)
- Max Headroom (1987)
- Persons Unknown (2010)
- Planet of the Apes (1974)

Well, the important thing is that we have fun!

Madp, today is a holiday in the US (Labor Day--one of the days when no one labors. Except me, because my wife wants the bedroom painted. And everyone knows that whatever your wife wants in the bedroom, she gets.) That probably explains our two lost members. Perhaps we should wait a day before the vote. Wherever they are, they'll probably be back by this evening.

And you've talked me out of The Twilight Zone (1959). I'll withdraw that one. And actually, I thought about TZ 2002, but decided against it because I started watching in its original run and gave up after just a few weeks. And there are 44 episodes in the first season. We'd be slogging through that until next June!

I'm glad to know there's a reason for our friends to be missing, though wlcetbg has been missing longer, since I think we haven't heard from him since episode 5. Anyway, I guess I should drop the Max Headroom nomination as well, at least until we get clearer rules about two-short-season shows.

Personally I really like the idea of single-season, especially cancelled shows, because then we can try and figure out what went wrong with that mess, and why it got ultimately cancelled, and put the final nail in its coffin.

A while back, we discussed what to do about shows that had two short seasons. We took as a guideline a maximum of 30 episodes, in honor of our inaugural series, The Time Tunnel . I think that works for me.

Yikes, I have been traveling with the wife and have just landed back in town today. Where did these shows come from....lol no defying gravity no dresden files.....Oh well lets see....

Hate to sit out this round of voting, but I'm getting ready for a big one-way road trip which might affect my ability to follow the next show so I don't think it would be fair.
