Ending (contains spoiler)

Did anyone understand the significance of the sneeze, and the re-entry into the room by the 2 cops? Why did that mean anything to them? I saw the final 10 miunutes about 3 weeks after the rest of the movie so there may be some subtle thing I forgot.

during the hijacking, Mr Green (guy with the sneeze) speaks using the radio after Mr Blue has told him not to. during his use of the radio, Mr Green sneezes, as he does throughout the film, the sneeze at the conclusion of the film alerts the cops that he was indeed the speaker they were looking for

Yes - When he sneezed in the radio I rembembered that I saw the original film a couple of years ago. kinda ruined it for me.

The Ending was crap but the Suspense during the Shootout was alrightio!

I didn't see this one, but the way the sneeze was handled in the original made for what was arguably the greatest film ending of all time. Admittedly, it couldn't possibly have played the same way without Walter Matthau, though.
