On Showtime... Ooops

I think someone at Showtime (or Encore... can't remember) might have lost their job on Saturday.

Saturday morning I woke up and turned on the tube. Rolling through the movie channels I found TOP123 and thought to myself, "it's been a while... why not?" It was maybe 15 minutes in and there were many characters I didn't recognize from the movie I had seen in 09 version. Also, the editing wasn't as quick. I gave it 10 minutes, knowing full well that 09's version was a remake of a late 60s (or early 70s) movie, but I honestly thought I was dreaming... or I was in the twilight zone. I looked at the summery (again) and it gave credit to Washington and Travolta. Weird... really weird.

Come to find out, they were playing the TV version from 98 by accident (which I didn't even know existed until now). I don't know how movie channel's airing system works, but it just seems like a weird mistake to make especially being a made for tv movie.
