Yes it's pretty damn good but there are these long pointless parts with this journalist dude and we have almost no Stuart Townsend towards the end of the film even though he's the main character. The supporting cast was... blah. But Townsend and the chick who played Victor Kelly's mom were brilliant.

you are a very bad critic, and you think a rambo movie compares to a dark brooding killer, you are really messed up in the head. sensless killing makes films, i bet you dont even like rob zombie films, and even if the killing wasnt in it the movie has great vision and direction,p.s. if you think first blood is a good movie which is about the most retarded script ever writen, you are by far one of the dumbest people i know.

This film is just a portrait of what must have been a nightmare reality,a dark period of history.Victor is an anti hero....I couldnt wait for him too get his.
Also all the characters had so much more depth...His Mothers blinkered vision,her own insecurities..The father seems the better of the bunch.he had redeeming qualities and Knew what was going on.I thought the scene in the pub was chilling where everyone joined in the beating and how Victor dragged the poor man into the toilet to cut his throat...Like he was driven by a dark,twisted sadistic need.
