a question for you all if/when u had a baby and u had to name it a shakespearian name what would it be (girl and boy)

i have many
boy: Sebastian, Claudio, Cassio, Leonato, Paris

girl: Bianca, Isabella, Ophelia

Not trying to offend you, but why would you want to name your daughter after someone who goes crazy and drowns themselves?

In all fairness Shakespeare did not invent any of these names but i dont think that was the question.

I would have a son called Iago and I bet he would be naughty

To answer the OP, I have a cat name Hermia! I love the names from this play the best, but I also like Miranda from The Tempest. Lysander is another one of my favorite names, also Silvia and Julia from Two Men from Venice or Orlando from Taming of the Shrew... I could go on, he picked such beautiful names.

I have a Shakespearian name and I'd never thought to giving my kids Shakespearian anmes, too. But still, I'm determined to name my son Lucas (or Lance) and my duaghter Brooklyn (or Erika)
