Comment or two...

Like Scott I once fell off my bicycle and cracked my helmet but didn't have that crazy desk (lol) to keep me busy. Seriously, though, I bought the VHS from Hallmark not long after 9/11 (probably my own way to escape today's wars) and enjoyed watching this film more than a few times, and in fact had the chance not long after to speak by e-mail to one of the Civil War reenactors that was part of the Gettysburg scene - he told me that it was interesting to watch JJL work. P.S. I always get a laugh when the housekeeper sees Scott's photo - it's 135 years old but 2 weeks old (!). P.P.S. The final grave scene is why I believe in that form of burial - as people in that business say, "It's not for the dead but for the living" - so true, because having a nice spot like that to visit is very special for many people, long after the person has passed on...

I agree, I enjoyed the movie very much. I am glad that Scott met his Elizabeth.

This is one of those few times that Hallmark has made a high quality movie with a terrific cast and an interesting plot. I also love films set in New England, even though I understand it was mostly filmed in Virginia.

I also love the scene where the housekeeper sees Scott's photo! The look on her face!!
