Grierson's cat

Just had to give some thought to what kind of programming would go into the cat that Fuller-Grierson interacted with. A cat is driven by perceptions, moods, and instinct. They're not just moving objects, like a wind-up toy.

Did the cat have a consciousness? The cat seemed very genuine in its reactions and expression, as brief as its performance was. I think Fuller and Hall would have given it a self driven program. How else could you get a real seeming cat?

Also, could someone download into the cat? It would be a good way to spy on the Griersons.

I don't recall any other animals in the movie.

Cats are the furry little aliens who are running the top level simulation. They just come down into the lower levels for entertainment.

They always act so superior because they are, and humans are only a part of the simulation because cats want somebody to feed them during their stay.
