Gt : disappointment

Back in the day when i first watched Dragonball Z i became a huge fan and enjoyed it thruput the different sagas. However I think as much i liked the idea of what happened to characters after DBZ i think they shud have left well enough alone. Although it was okay to see how the charcaters developed since the previous series i found Dragonball Gt a bit disappointing as i felt most of characters were not portrayed the same as they were back then.

Im aware that 10 years went by in DBZ universe but it just wasnt the same. I wud have thot the second trunks that appeared wud've been more like first future trunks but then again secend trunks was growing in a different circumstances and surroundings where as future trunks was dealing with a warlike atmosphere and struggling to survive and acting like true rebel. Whereas second trunks didnt grow with warlike atmosphere and had an easy life and was probably spoiled , bein corporate boss of his company as well bein a fighter. I also felt he was a bit more wimpish than first alternative trunks as well as his dress sense was bad compared to rebel wear that other trunks wore, also shade of purple his hair in gt was bad compared to the more silvery purple shade that first trunks had in gt.

I was thrilled seein how characters had moved on since DBZ days but it just wasnt the same. Also the storylines that went with these characters - i dont think it worked that well. As well as whole thing bout turning goku bk into a kid - probably to capture sum of old dragonball series days atmosphere into the show - i thot was daft.

I havent watched all of original dragonball series so no comment on that.
