1. Goku being a kid the entire series.
I'll admit I didn't ruin the series for me, but it just seemed stupid. I really don't see what point it proved and it was for me, something that should have been resolved in the first 20 episodes. Why the hell would he jump to adult in SSJ4? Better yet, why did that level of super saiyan grow you clothing?
2. Animation of this show bites, terrible animation.
Completely 100% agree. Whoever said it's exactly like the Buu saga is an idiot. It's sorta similar in style, but the animation itself is vastly superior. Granted, I believe DBZ hit it's animation peak in the Cell saga, but other than a slight reuse of scenes (not including flashbacks)and some awkward side profile shots (some chins were too big) the animation was acceptable. In GT they reuse scenes so often it's overkill. Remember that episode where Cell/Frieza returned? Cell's animation was terrible, his face was so wonky and his eyes too big in comparision to what they animated 3-4 years prior. EVERY side view shot of a character in GT that chin is too big, a lot of other thoses are just inconsistent in the size/placing of the eyes/nose/mouth. I'm a huge animation buff, so to see something like Dragonball that was animated in the 80's look better than something that was done 10 years later, there's really no excuse.
3. The only character's who fight is Goku and Vegeta.
Not true, but they do get all of the bigger fights.
4. The saiyans are too evolved the villians and characters were too powerful.
That happens in EVERY saga of DBZ, but it felt a little bit overdone in DBGT. At least in DBZ their was buildup and the characters had to work for their levels. I really don't care if that ate up episodes, it's called story development. I can deal with that. In DBGT it just seemed like 'Hey, I trained for like a DAY and now I'm 1000000x powerful than I was the day prior. Fancy that'.
5. The soundtrack sucks.
Yupperoonies. I really like DBZ's limited but enjoyable tracks.
6. Goten and Gohan were turned into total geeks
Gohan is excusable, although I like the Saiyaman character I felt that whole character development as a teen didn't make any sense compared to who he was at the end of the cell saga. GT was just an extension of that.
Goten on the other hand I'm not so sure of, it stated at the end of Z he liked dating, but the whole 'I spend all day on the phone mackin' it up with the ladies' just seemed like such a strech.
7. The villians suck no character devolpment at all.
I don't really agree with the people who said the villains in Z had no character development (LOOK AT FAT BUU!), but what the villains in Z had was a likeability factor. They were *beep* and they were evil and mostly had a purpose, there was definitely personality there although not a real indepth one. They were so well liked they brought them back in GT... every villain since then just seemed like lame cardboard cuts of 'IMS GONNA KILL YOUS ALL'.
8. Fight scenes suck, in DBZ they used the same fight scenes a couple times which was kind of cheap, but in GT they do it all the time. On top of that they make it seem like back in DBZ they were 10 times stronger than they are now, dont display power, but they are suppose to be unbeleivably powerful.

9. Goku is the hero every single time which is sooo annoying. He beats every villian in GT
I would have liked Uub or Pan to get a bit of attention because it would have been a nice 'passing on the torch' like Goku did with Gohan in the cell saga, but that would require the writers to think instead of ripping off their own ideas from Z.
10. Tien is just gone dont even explain what happened to him.
Whoever said 'you never know what happened to him in Z' is wrong. Although Kuririn said 'Tienshinhan won't be seeing us again' Tienshinhan came regardless and helped out briefly with their fight with Buu. He's also seen at Bulma's party at the end of Z. But like Lunch in DB, they just sorta pushed him out. BTW, when Goku's powering Ki for his Genki Dama in the Buu saga you see Lunch working as a truck driver, so I think it's safe to assume for whatever reason she and Tienshinhan didn't stay together sadly.
11. Pan is whiney and annoying.
I think it's a fact you can't be female in the DBZ universe without being bossy and pushy (reference: Bulma, Chichi, Andriod 18, Lunch Transformed, Videl, EVERYONE),but Pan's attitude didn't make sense. She was such a sweet girl with such a focused girl of being stronger and she absolutely adored her grandpa... I don't want to touch down on her character in GT, what a mess that was.
12. Ending sucked, DBZ didnt have all that great of ending but it was better than this crap. You could tell the ending was rushed, no emotion at all when Goku leaves his family, doesnt hug Chi Chi one last time or give an emotional goodbye to his sons.
Granted he didn't give them much of a goodbye when he's leaving to train Uub, but he does give them SOME goodbye, better than nothing. He's shown he can be a terrible husband and father without thinking, but in GT again, it just seemed like overkill. Awful ending.
13. Vegeta acheiving super saiyan 4 so easily.
He probably really wishes it was that easy back when he was training for the andriods...
14. there are too many super saiyan levels now.
Not too concerned about that... I don't see a huge difference in jump from 3 to 4....
15. Dr Myuu looks too much like Dr. Gero, they might as well said this is Dr. Gero reincarnated.
Again, the writers for GT ripped off their own ideas in Z a whole lot.
16. Goku's new suit I hate.
He wore the same basic outfit at the end of Z!
17. the characters arent warriors anymore, they all wear civillian clothes instead of battle clothes.
I think it's pretty acceptable to think people with professional and personal lives don't spend all their time in battle Gi's just in case. A lot of the attacks in GT weren't expected, I'm not surprised they didn't stop in the middle of a fight to say 'I'm not properly dressed for this! Wait a minute while I change'
18. Vegeta having a big huge wrestler type bodybuild, he is bough but hes small.
It's slightly bigger in GT, if you compare him to when he first arrived in Z to his build in the Buu saga there's a HUGE difference, but the jump from Buu to GT isn't that great... stupid reason to complain.
19. His hair looks stupid, pureblooded saiyans hair isnt suppose to change remember he stated this back when him and Trunks got out of the hyperbolic time chamber.
I don't think facial hair counts, but I would have assumed it varies from Saiyan to Saiyan since he didn't grow any when training for the cell games. The hair itself can CHANGE, it just can't grow. Since his hair got shorter, I think it's safe to assume he cut it and it probably won't grow back.
20. the way the villians get defeated is stupid.

21. Bottom line people is they should have stopped at Z the characters even then were on the breaking point of being too powerful. I mean imagine if you continued after GT whats next Super Saiyan 5, then Super Saiyan 6, thats just dumb. It got kind of predictable so they needed to stop there at Z. Really I thought they probably should have ended at Cell, but things were left unsolved like Vegeta's grudge towards Goku so I am glad they continued but it needs to stop there. In the back of my mind I kind of want the DB series to continue like Dragonball AF but we gotta face reality guys all great things have to come to an end.
I agree the series should have ended at the end of Z, I hated the fact Toei really pushed to milk that cash cow at the expense of quality. I wouldn't have minded a few specials or one off comics explaining a lot of the things they didn't touch down on in the series (how the hell Bulma/Vegeta ended up together, what happened while Goku trained Ubb, the 10 year gap between the end of the Buu saga to the end of the show), but not any extensions to the current story. I don't take GT as Canon but glorified fan work, it never should have been made.

all this doesn't matter. the show ended so quickly because it sucked. And it sucked, because the story wasn't that interesting to most viewers (usually the reason why shows end so quickly...)
