There has been an old movie with a guy dressed as a devil leaping past the screen. I have had a heck of a time trying to find it. Anyone know what it is?
shareThis is probably wrong, but could you be thinking of Chaplin's The Kid (1921)? There's a dream sequence featuring the devil.
"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"
The Kiss is comparitavely new compared to some films. Firstly, the famous film of a train pulling into a station (and apparently terrifying the audience) was made the year before it, but the oldest surviving films are these...

''Roundhay Garden Scene'' (1888) It's the oldest surviving film.

This is the oldest film on IMDb, because it is the first film ever made.

Well, I think it is a movie, as it is something that could be described as moving pictures, but it is not a film like the Roundhay Garden Scene is.
