What an odd little film.

I honestly don't know how to rate it - it was unnecessarily disgusting (this from a confirmed horror fan), but strangely compelling. I don't understand why it was so short, and I disliked the two main characters. The acting was ... interesting. Lots of blank stares and meaningful pauses (let me put it this way, I am far from fluent in French yet I was able to read the subtitles just fine while playing Angry Birds). If there was a point, I missed it, yet I watched to the end.

Overall, just weird - I think I give it a 5 out of 10, but a 9 out of 10 on the "WTF" scale.

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

That's really funny. I felt exactly the same way and just finished watching it for the first time while playing angry birds too. hah those damn birds -- so addictive.

I feel the same as well (without the Angry Birds)
But it did stay with me. I was reminded of an old Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode. The fifty something minutes with a cast of only a few actors (the baby and 2 women for most of the movie) in a simple but compelling situation.
I didn't think the end was a shock.

Francois Ozon is nuts.
