My Only Problem with this movie... (Spoilers)

Aside from the fact that the ending was so tragic, it was slightly refreshing in this day and age of Hollywood endings. I think Theresa was a little unrealistic in her actions, but aside from that it was a touching and sad movie.

But what gets me is that his wife has ONLY been dead for two years and everyone seems to be giving him grief over not moving on.

Come on people its only been two years.

I can't say how long is too long, and how long is not long enough, but I think two years is a little short on the grieving time.

On the other hand, the widow/widow-ward is the best judge of whether or not they have grieved long enough.

Two years is a short time to grieve. 5 to 7 seems to be the number from what i've seen of life.

I totally agree with you, Timescrew... two years is not that long if one loves another deeply... some people can get over the death of a loved one in less time, and others take more time... but two years isn't enough for people to be telling him to "get over it and move on"... also, the ending... good God, what can I say? The man's still grieving over the death of his wife, and then HE DIES? WTH?
