Song 'Have You Ever'

I also could not read the credits they were so fast but it looked like the name of the Artist that did this song "Have You Ever" first name started with Dianne......? I know it is not Brandy's version as I listened to her version and while the words were correct the singer is not. Anyone have a clue who sang the move version.

Hey!

I looked all around for you and I finally found it on another post in yahoo reviews for this movie. The song is by Sue Ann Carwell. I hope this helps!!

When the song started, it actually made me smile.

I usually hate "music montages" in movies, but I love this song so much (the Brandy version is my favorite), and thought it perfect for the film.

And the fact that the music started while the camera was focused on Michael Vartan...Oh MY GOD! He was so gorgeous even when he looked heartbroken!! Lovely moment.

I loved "The Painted Veil." Please do try to see it.

Hi, The song itself is by Brandy, but this is not the version in the film. Try the Brandy version and see what you think.

The song is a Diane Warren song. Brandy did record it. However when we listened to the song originally we were sent a demo version sung by a demo singer. Her voice was so good -- we felt that it was better than Brandy's for this particular situation. So we bought the demo as is. Diane Warren was nice enough to just let us use the tape that was sent over. I loved the fact that it happened because it gave a very talented person a shot.

Hope this helps.
And thanks for the question.

I have just seen this film and currently have the credits paused on my tv. Have you Ever was written by Diane Warren and performed by Sue Ann Carwell.
Good luck in finding it.....I want it too!

I also like the At Last song, sung by Etta James.

It was sang by the demo singer that the sample of the song was sent to us by. It was a Diane Warren song. We were going to use the Brandy version-- but the demo singer was so good-- we decided to give a breaking artists... a break. And I think it's far better then Brandy's version. :)

I just caught the last 15 minutes of this movie on TV this afternoon. I was particularly drawn to a song that was playing in the bar near the end of the movie.
Not sure if it was 'Have You Ever' or not. Does anyone have the DVD and know what the song was playing in the background in the bar near the end. It was a female singer.
Unfortunately this DVD is not available in the UK.
