I really want to see the movie, but I'm only 15. I'm pretty mature for my age. I've seen Boys Don't Cry and other such movies. Basically what I'm asking is whether as far as the sex scenes do you think that it would be appropriate for a 15 year old to watch? Thanx any responses are appreciated.

Personally, I would say yes. I don't think it's too graphic compared to other movies with sex scenes or movies with drug use. If I had a child who was 15, I would let them watch it. That's just my personal opinion.

for someody with a requiem for a dream quote in their post i would say that if you feel that requiem for a dream is appropriate for a 15 yr old to watch then you shouldn't worry at all about high art

It's best not to be too moral you cheat yourself out of too much life.
Boys Don't Cry had much more sex in it then this movie and also had subject matter that was very intense. If this 15 year old can handle watching this movie I see no reason why they should not watch High Art!
