List of movies that look like 80s but are not

Everybody praises the 80s movies' look and feel. I think that this movie should be at the top of such a list.

I don't think I'm with you on New Nightmare, but the rest are spot on and I just had to laugh at Halloween, really it was ahead of its time. As for the OP I'm with ya Inferno fit's the 80's. I add,

Dead Alive: 1992
Hatchet: 2006
All 3 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies: 90, 91, and 93

I wouldn't count movies that came out in '90 since most of them were shot in '89.

i think the feel and overall execution of the film is more 80's than the general look of it. But the soundtrack, my god, its as if it came straight from 1989 (which isnt a bad thing)

Of course, let's not forget The Expendables :)

No bur really, there's a few old action stars doing great old fashioned action movies now like Dolph Lundgren back to his best in stuff like Icarus (aka The Killing Machine) and Wesley Snipes' Game of Death (not a Bruce Lee remake, don't worry).

Of the so-called new generation of action stars, we've only really got Statham completing movies which can compete with the over the top 80's style, flicks like Crank are just great fun.

Beverly Hills Cop III looks very 90s, to me.

Bad Boys 2 (2003)
The Next Karate Kid (1994)
Stony Island (1978)
Psycho (1998)
Waterworld (1995)
Batman Returns (1992)... this is still a well-made movie. Batman Forever might be a better choise, but it doesn't have enough of 80s influence.
Almost every film based on video games from 90s
Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot (1992)
Last Action Hero (1993)
Days of Thunder (1990)

Days of Thunder - interesting one, it was likely made in 89 but I always think of it as a definite 90s film. I was surprised to see that it was released so early in the decade.
