Recast "Cruel Intentions" 90s style

Because I thought recasting "Cruel Intentions" worked better, having actors and actresses within the same era. Teen movies were different back then, and yet, still interchangeable. They were trendy, comedic, karmic, and they were generational. I listed some stars from then, I feel duplicates "Cruel Intentions" on and offscreen, and I know one way or the other, they're not alone, in their former Young Hollywood days in the 90s.

Nice list. I really like your casting for Sebastian and Annette. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Love Hewitt were two of the hottest young stars in the 90s, and they would've been a dream come true as an item in any movie.

I figured I could hit closer to home, using the actual decade of the movie. I also never see anyone recast older movies within their time, so i'm trying a different approach.

Don't get me wrong though. I have thought about a 2015 remake, as you can see down below.

You're right to place Katie Holmes with Cecile. Natalie Portman gives Kirsten Dunst a run for her money as a recast for Annette. They were both becoming "It" girls or "dream" girls back then.
