A low budget feature for kids. The low budget aspects occasionally show way too clearly and some story aspects are weak, but this can still be a very nice story.

Several of the IMDb user reviews are by older ones who cannot accept the flaws in stories such as this, other reviews are by some who can accept this, though. The mix of reviews is interesting.

I'd say this film was for very young children. It struck me the actors were making up their lines as it went along. There was so much repetition of lines, as in 'help him, help him, help him, help him' or "Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad." Yikes.

Even Malcolm MacDowell couldn't save this film.
