So what happened when the cameras stopped?

I just saw this film for the first time yesterday - February 2003! I really enjoyed it. I have been hunting on the internet to try to determine if Myles and Elisabeth got married, or are still together. I couldn't find any information, and am afraid that means that it didn't work in the long run. It seems likely that if they were happily together, that would be too good a tale to not have plastered all over cyberworld. Anyone know what happened when the cameras stopped?

They yelled CUT, the ACTORS all stopped by the Kraft Services food table for a quick snack, and they all went home until the next days shooting schedule.

If you honestly believe this movie is real, I have some Florida swamp land to sell you.

There was never a restraining order filed in LA against a Miles Berkowitz. That would be public record.

Nor were there any lawsuits for 'violation of civil rights'. (It is NOT a violation simply for filming, and if a lawsuit ever was filed, there is NO WAY the footage would be used in the movie.)

I agree. There's no way anyone would go out with this jackass, nevermind give him $60,000 to make a film with no tits and ass. I can't believe people were actually fooled by it.

I was curious, too... I read an interview on the web that said he was marrying Elisabeth, which was right around when the film came out. He said there will be no cameras...

When I first saw it, I was like, "This can't be real". I mean look at who was Date #17, an actress by the name of Julie McCullough. I think it was just a mockumentary that used mostly unknowns instead of well knowns.

The producer, the voice of producer who harps on putting Tia Carrerra in the movie was married to her at the time, so it was all a big joke.<chuckle>

Samaha is one of the biggest Hollywood producers around as well, so it was all a big Joke about him spending 50 grand on the movie and having to sell his car and junk as well.<chuckle>

Tia Carrarre is listed as the producer in the credits immediately after their date too.<chuckle>

She is also listed as herself in the credits...because he was set up to go out with her to spice up the movie...just like that waynes world girl was in there, and some model lady.

I was just thinking of this movie the other day. I thought it was hilarious even though obviously some of it was scripted. Unfortunately it's not on DVD so it's hard to see if it really was as funny. But in my search to find the movie I did find Myles and Elisabeth (now Wagner Berkowitz) on Facebook so they did get married, whether they met as part of the filmmaking process I suppose is TBD.
