When did Nicco get killed?

Tonight on MyFamily TV I saw the episode where Ali wasn't
supported by her co-workers and boss so she quit the force,
and then Nicco succeeds in re-uniting Jeannie Palmer with
her mother, and about a minute later he gets shot to death
by a police officer who had bad aim trying to shoot a
suspect who pulled a knife on Nicco.
The opening credits listed Adrian Holmes, who IMDB lists in
12 episodes.
This episode featured Crystal Bublé as "Billie" celebrating
1 year "clean". That actress is listed by IMDB in 10
episodes.
The only episode those two actors have in common was "True
Believers: Part 2".
But the closing credits show Melanie Papalia, who was in
only one episode "Killing Time". Also, Gregory Calpakis (aka
Greg Calpakis) played Det. Nicco Sevallis in 56 episodes,
which included "Killing Time" and the next episode after it
"True Believers: Part 1" but did *not* include "True
Believers: Part 2". And *none* of those three episodes show
a charaacter named "Jeannie Palmer".
So which of those three episodes had Nicco getting killed??
