girl who identifies killler from the grave

I'm not sure what the title is, but I loved it. It took place in Detroit Michigan.

Some girls were going to meet their friend at the movie theater, but when they get there, she is dead; she was involved in a drive-by shooting.

When they get home, they try to contact her through the Ouija board, but get no answer, then the phone rings. There is a crackling sound on the other end of the line, then a whispery voice says, "See all". The girls are confused at first, then the voice becomes clearer and says, "Jesse Hall"; it is her murderer's name!

One of them calls the police, but does not give her name. The next day, a cop shows up at the door, saying they've caught the murderer. The girl asks how they found them, and the cop says that the call was traced or something.

Stories such as this can be found in a book called, Phone call from a ghost, by Daniel Cohen, or some of the books that Robert Tralins has written, but I haven't been able to find them. If someone killed me, I'd certainly want my family and others to know who did it; the word of the dead *is* admissible in court!

The girl did not pick up the phone, but the answering machine does, and that's where they hear the friend's voice identify the murderer. Sorry, must have gotten my episodes mixed up.

Cool! Love that story. That book totally looks like something I'd have borrowed from the elementary school library or read while camping in the summer. :D
Wish we could've ever found any of Tralins' research!! O_o
