One of the creepiest stories

I don't know if it was because I was around 9 when I first saw the episode but it was called the guy in the yellow jacket I think and it was about a couple trying to get away from a killer in the woods and a guy in a yellow jacket is helping them find their way out. At the end the guy is pointing at a hole where he has been stuck for a while. That episode creeped me out but I don't know if its true or not. What's an episode that scared you?
And the episode where a woman always sees a creepy ghost in a mirror that's at the end of her hallway. That one still creeps me out.

The one that was the most memorable to me was the one about the little kid who said there was a monster in his closet. His older brother always made fun of him over this. One day as a joke..the older brother went into the closet. Then all of a sudden you hear him screaming and when they open up the closet door..he is gone! They claim that one was true.

i just read your post and was watching the show and amazingly this episode just aired! HA! All the boys were making fun of him and his brother went in. Poor lil Danny lost his brother.

BTW Mz. Know it all, I just saw the episode with that story in it, and it was revealed as false.

* Kid In The Closet - I had nightmares, and I passed it on to my friends
* Deadbeat Daddy - I thought the woman was haunting my house...for some odd reason.
* The Hooded Chair - The end, where Talbot has a heart attack and that axe...just terrifying. I thought he'd come and kill me. Or I'd see him die in front of me (thus giving me a heart attack)
* Malibu Cop - Doing stuff in your sleep is a concept that I find to be weird. But to go and murder someone, and not even know it is very scary.
* The Apparition - Nothing's creepier than seeing the ghost of a murder victim;and their murderer's trying to kill you.

Not the creepiest one I ever saw but a good one was where the teen killed a local teen and stole his deposit money. He later went on to the FBI academy and became an agent. Later he was sent back to his home town and was working on a case. He was helping the sheriff when they ended up at the pond where he had dumped the body years ago. He freaked out and walked into the water and suddenly a hand grabbed him and pulled him under. When he came back up he had the exact same cut on his head as did his victim.

That one was on today

I thought the one about the cartoon artist, Izzy, was the creepiest. And if I remember correctly, they claimed that one was true.

"The Artist"...yes. Good one. Except that the painter actually fulfills people's requests to kill them by painting their portraits. He does it as an act of mercy for those who are suffering, but after he murders a depressed young woman who'd only been dumped by her boyfriend, he can't deal with what he's done, and finally paints...a self-portrait.

Anyway, there are really way, way too many creepy stories for me to even list. A lot of awesome ones have been referenced in this thread already.

The story seemed like something out of one of the EC comics from the 50s.

"I'll go,because I am Cinema!" - Ben (Man Bites Dog)

How about "Angel On Board?" When the flight attendant shakes her head when the man offers the woman if she wants to switch seats.

reply

I'd be creeped out if that happened to me. It kind of makes my fear of planes worse.

I know this post was fromlast year, but that story freaked me out. The look the flight attendants face gave me a nightmare that night, no joking.

Living In Sin Is The New Thing

I was so going to choose that one lol. That one scared me half to death!
Another one (my memory is a little fuzzy on the exact details) is about the mean old gravedigger who is taunted by the old woman who sings, "An awful old man....no respect for the living and none for the dead!" Then when he finally snaps and cracks her coffin open, her eyes suddenly pop open and she says, "You were warned," then he procedes to have a heart attack and falls into the grave meant for her. Scary stuff right there.

reply

Oh yes, "The Gravedigger's Nemesis" is an all-time great one.

"An awful, awful man,
Not well-bred...
No respect for anyone,
Not even the dead!"

Her voice sure is haunting!!! 8O

I like you, Um. I like largeness...

reply

Her voice was hideous, I hated it.

reply

I love how eerie it is!! >8-D

I feel the Remember Pearl Harbor story is embellished for some reason. I know they said it is true but I think it is stretching the original story (which I don't know) However, boy in closet hands down, always stuck with me since its original airing.

For me, the creepiest are these ones:

1. "The Warning"-Creepy people in elevators scare me.

2. "Apparition"-I remember I couldn't sleep for weeks because there was a mirror in the bedroom and I kept thinking I would see an apparition in the mirror just like the lady in the show did.

3. "The Sleepwalker"-The one where the little girl's father sleepwalks and falls off the balcony I think, and then she finds a strange doll in her dollhouse that looks just like him.

4. "The Imaginary Friend"-this one was horrifying. Even though the little girl's imaginary friend was there for a good purpose, it's creepy to think there are invisible beings that can predict the future.

5. "Ring Toss"-just the image of a ventriloquist dummy that looks just like the old man sitting there laughing next to a corpse freaks me out. Even though the guy deserved to die to be perfectly honest.

There was one involving teenage girls at a sleepover with a Ouija board but I can't for the life of me remember the title. Anything involving Ouija boards creeps me out though.

"Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings."

reply

The ouija one is actually just called "The Ouija Board." ;-) Great choices; those are all definitely very eerie and freaky.

In "The Sleepwalker," the father just leaves in his sleep one night and never returns.

reply

Oh, OK. I'm making up my own version of the episode, LOL.

"Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings."

reply

Ha ha, it's all right! XD There are so many stories from this show, many of which may be similar to others you've heard or read, that it would be easy to confuse things or remember only bits and pieces of a lot of them. ^.^

I like you, Um. I like largeness...

reply

Actually the Ouija Board one is actually called "The Prophecy". It was about 3 girls home alone playing with the Ouija Board until a ghost got hold of them and started showing them answers.

reply

Ugh, you're right. There was a time I thought it was simply called "The Oujia Board"...corrected myself after seeing the episode again, but never edited that post.

reply

Mine's would have to be "The Red Eyed Creature"

Saw Sleepwalker one last night they claim it's true and Robert Tramlins actually saw the doll in question, truly spooky and claimed to be true.

reply

I know. It's so hard to believe that some of those stories are actually true. But I tried to Google up some of them and I hit a dead end.
