best phantasm film?

I actually preferred Phantasm II, then Phantasm, then III & IV.

I think it was the bigger budget and production values that did it for II, but wished it had A. Michael Baldwin in it.

I liked the last two, but they weren't as good as the first two.

Is the room ready for Rose?

Ready for Ralph, Godley and Creme

I'm the same. II was the best imo, and then after II they kind of seemed to become really repetitive and drift a lot.

So I'd say II would be my favourite, and the first would be second, then following by 3 and 4 respectively. I have marathoned the series a few times and by IV I'm usually losing interest.

I think 3 is the best. Though I suppose I don't really like any of them...

I'm with Hexed and DracenMantis... II was my phavorite, with I following next and III & IV bringing up the rear.

3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!

I think the first is the best. It was a creepy, surreal, atmospheric, nightmarish masterpiece. It took me a few viewings to really care for the 2nd one. I didn't like how they changed it. They turned it into more of an Arnold Schwarzenegger feeling action/road flick rather than the scary movie the first one was. But these days I appreciate it a little bit more, though it's still my least favorite of the sequels. 3 and 4 return to the horror roots a little bit more, but are still not as good as the 1st. I haven't seen the 5th yet.
