Anybody else LOVED the ending of this movie?

I just totally loved the ending of this movie. Even though Vic is a thieve and all, I just feel so good for him to get another chance, most specially because he can go back to Sally, and they both can spend the rest of their lives together. It's kind of surreal IMO, how he goes from being in complete resignation with a future in jail, to suddenly being freed and able to do whatever he pleases. It just feels so strange, so surreal!
