There have been some great posts about this movie. But, I still think they end up together based on her smile at the end of the movie. Both get a taste of an unhappy future after their infidelity in the two time reversals. I think the whole point was to show each the light and send them back to get it right.

shareYes, that's the way I interpreted the ending, too. Sylvia got the same chance that Victor did: to gain peace of mind by being able to let go of obsession over "what might have been."

Agree...my take on all of it is no matter what you do or is done upon you, if you could go back and change everything to the way it was before there's no guarantees of the outcome would be what you wanted it to be...if that makes sense
