Courtney did not kill Kurt. We did. We killed him by idolizing his musical talent while ignoring a history of depression. Life is so stupid we react to the moment and ignore who we are really are dealing with. Looking at Courtney's dad there is no question why his little girl is so screwed up. Everyone has the right to have children even if they are completely emotionally unfit to love and care for them. So who among us even really gives a damn ? No one. People are here to watch the train wreck , pass judgment and make themselves feel better about their own lives. Kurt's dead and it's our fault. Courtney's in trouble and it's our fault. They were both talented , both troubled and all we can talk about is the mystery of his death. Ignoring just how much pain she is really in and it is so clear. The only mystery is why those who knew him and loved him couldn't see it coming. It was so obvious no one cared enough yet she gets all the blame like there was no one else there.

Courtney's Americas Sweetheart is an incredibly good album and worthy of even Kurt's legacy. Now we are sitting watching her go down the same road Kurt went. Is that all they are ? Just famous corpses to feed the machine ? When are we going to wake up ? Anyone claiming Courtney is guilty of not caring enough should take a look at us. None of us care at all. Problem is that Courtney at least has an excuse. What's our excuse ? Sick , just sick. The girl needs to find her center before she lets the sharks feed on her in a final fatal act of pathetic celeb bashing. And we aren't helping , not at all. Sad.

Yeah, she's so talented. So talented that kurt wrote most of live through this and Billy corgan wrote most of celebrity skin. If she doesn't want to look guilty then maybe she should not act like someone who has something to hide.

And oh yeah, wrangling over his musical legacy like some mangy dog doesn't help her cause.

Proof. Show me the proof and stop with this BS . My wife is in my business and everyone credits her work to me. A favorite tactic of people who hate women and consider them inferior. Sorry but Billy isn't that talented and her work got better after Kurts death. Sorry to be honest but I'm no SP fan at all.

And Alex , she OWNS Kurts musical legacy. She has ever right to protect it for her daughter so your "wrangling" comment makes no sense whatsoever. Wow , talk about misplaced bitterness.

I agree with what you said.

The thing I really can't stand about the conspiracy theory is that it downplays the existance of the mental illness that Kurdt had, which killed him, and which continues to kill many others.

People are so willing to blindly hate Courtney that they believe all the garbage her father says against her in this film, and turn a blind eye to the fact that no one should treat their children the way he treated her. If that were someone they knew, instead of a celebrity, they would feel sympathy for her. But it's as if they can't even see her as a real person.

You are also right that whenever a woman does something, people say she couldn't possibly do something for herself, so it would have to be a man helping her. Hole has been credited to Kurdt, Elastica has been credited to Damon Albarn, and many women who accomplish something, who also happen to have husbands/boyfriends who work in that field, are denied credit for what they do. It is exactly the kind of misogynistic crap that Kurdt Cobain despised. People somehow think they're showing respect for Kurdt by making these claims, but they're not.

Researching his case does that to people. Seeing the fact that it was physically impossible for him to fire that gun into his head makes us believe that.
I hate Courtney Love, she is a survivor...I give her that. If she didn't have a direct hand in his death then she was just a bitch to him. I'm a Nirvana fan, and because of how...I feel about his death I will never be a Hole fan. Never.

i just find it disturbing to know that there's people out there that even after watching kurt and courtney can look up to her

and as far as her albums gettin better... that's just not true maybe to you but as far as sales go... *beep* she aint doin to good since live through this which kurt obviously had his hand in

I find two things disturbing:

1. That some people like Courtney Love - she's a sick bitch, hitting interviewers and smashing people's heads with microphone stands.

2. That some people who seem to know nothing about the case can build their theories on a movie like this. The movie is just too subjective.

Now, to the one who said, that there were a lack of evidence of murder. Did I miss something? There is absolutely NO evidence of suicide, not even a fingerprint. And there's a lot of evidence pointing towards Courtney.

Even though I'm not particularly fascinated by Courtney as a person who seems to have always been too preoccupied with herself ("Nothing really bothers her, she just wants to love herself") and I'm not very impressed by her last album,
and I don't see how I'm responsible for her troubles or Kurt's death (I've always adored Kurt but I never really idolized him and I didn't have the chance to be around)either I think you have some good points here.I believe she can be very much an assshole and very nasty at times but she also IS talented and very
troubled and very sensitive (although she prefers not to show it).People are going so far in their Courtney-hate that it really turns into witch-hunt in the end.If you don't like her,well,leave her alone,why bother talking about her at all? And if you truly believe she killed her husband who loved her,present some ultimate IRREFUTABLE proof at last and not yet another rendition of the well-known stuff about morphine levels (as if it could be confirmed anyway) or the footnote (as if there were no alternative explantion to that one)etc, which is all over the internet for everyone to read (that's why it's so annoying when people without any professional background pretend to be experts on the matter after having read W&H books or Tom Grant's website or the police reports which indeed show the investigation was slack but that's ALL they show... For God's sake guys,this stuff is available to everyone now,only it's still not enough to point at Courtney Love unless you're hate-driven... are you so sure Kurt Cobain wouldn't hate YOU for hurtnig what he loved without even having sufficient proof?)

Wow. Thunderr, you are amazing... Have you heard Courtney's first album? The only album she didn't have someone write "with" her. pleasseee! You don't know anything about music.

Too say "Courtney's Americas Sweetheart is an incredibly good album and worthy of even Kurt's legacy".. Is disrespectful to Kurts Legacy. Courtney love is a no talent, paraside, leech that sucks the life out of people.

I'm not saying Courtney killed kurt. The truth is, In bad relationships the other partner drags the other down. Which is my point and in this case.

This argument is pretty pointless as the answer is never going to come out. Courtney Love's records suck, they always have (with the exception of live through this). Kurt Cobain wrote good records. That's as far as that fight can go. I personally don't really have an opinion into if he killed himself or was murdered, but we will never really know. But i put this question forward... what did courtney stand to gain by killing him rather then divorcing him? tell me please. Money? nope he'd have to give her a large amount of his earnings as child support. The rights to his music? maybe but she still has to deal with krist and dave, as seen with the box set fun that was happening for 2 years. I don't know what she gained, tell me

They Changed the name to clear up the stupid joke once and for all, it's now called Urectum

To the person asking what Courtney had to gain by killing Kurt, it's pretty clear and obvious: the entire Nirvana legacy. She owns all the rights, all the songs. There was a lot of talk about Kurt's will in the weeks preceding his death (this has been substantiated by a visibly shaken former nanny of theirs, as seen in "Kurt and Courtney," who openly said she was scared of Courtney. And you know what the sick thing is? Ms. Love got away with it. I can't believe it. I can't believe a crazy psychotic woman like Courtney Love got away with something so huge, and that people aren't banging down her door and arresting her and locking her up. Every time I think about it I want to puke.

How you can listen to Live through This and not hear Kurt's writing is beyond me! That whole ablbum reeks of Kurt. How can you call yourself a fan and not hear his influence, or more blatantly his writing in those songs. You know his infamous style by now for sure. That soft, slow, quiet build into a hard in your face chorus...back into a nice soft, slow quiet *beep* classic. And America's Sweetheart can suck my balls. I seriously think someone had a hand in most of the writing on that(not Courtney) but whoever it is shouldn't be that proud. Live through This was head and shoulders above that album, period.

I'm not a huge fan of Courtney's at all but I don't think she murdered Kurt. It just "feels" right that Kurt killed himself. I mean when I heard it I was schocked in that he was no longer with us but it wasn't a "shocker" if that makes sense. The guy's demeanor was that of a depressed individual. The way he carried himself. To me anyways. INSANELY talented but definitely depressed from everything I've seen, read and heard.

So in summary. Kurt rules. Courtney can suck a dick. Kurt killed himself. Courtney is slowly doing the same. And god bless Francis Bean.
