The ending (SPOILER alert).

Did anyone else think that the ending signified the following - SPOILER ALERT -

That the young man should have in the end ultimately reported his "girlfriend" for committing an act of sexual violation towards him, and that even if exacting revenge including possibly confronting other gang member(s) wasn't in any way a wise choice, then just leaving them is still wrong, for it ultimately proved that, as terrible as the original deed was indeed alone (even in the gender reversal ways) it was followed by another ultimate one - murder, for he was later killed by getting drowned in the pool. And he really didn't want to even remotely report her to the police for that and face any punishment as a result - even going so far as to conflict with his mother about it and make her cry.

I suppose it could be said that by choosing not to report her to the police for sexual violence against him, he ultimately paid a second heavy price, but this time with his LIFE.

Maybe its also meant to say that these young criminals rarely stop and that if left unpunished, they would go on to later commit further offenses including arguably the most grievous one - murder.

What do you think? Thanks.

The greatest trick the Devil has ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!
