song question due to limited access of film

There is a scene where Eric is Making out with his girlfriend to try and proove that he is straight. At that scene there is a song played.I tried to check it out at the end credits but since i didn't have the dvd i was unable to zoom in on the song credits. These are the lyrics i remember: "If i wait for just a second more, then i'll forget what i came here for. You can change the chapter, you can change the book, but the story remains the same if you take a look." If anyone knows what this song is it would be greatly appreciated.
