Why is it that several people have seen it in different cities when it's never been released? Where do you find this stuff? I know it showed at Sundance many a day yonder, but Ft. Worth Texas? How come this dude gets a copy? I just really wanna check this sucker out. Bear with me.

shareNo you can't rent it at Movie Gallery. I work there and none of our stores rent out short films. What DickSmoke_4 is probably thinking of is "Coffee and Cigarettes" directed by Jim Jarmusch. It is a great movie worth checking out - especially if you like P.T. Anderson movies.
shareNah, it wasn't "Coffee & Cigarettes", it was the actual "Cigarettes & Coffee". I don't know where you live, but here in Maine I know of a Movie Gallery that does rent it out. So, maybe not all of them do.

shareJust received a DVD-R from asylum00.com!
It is titled the Paul Thomas Anderson Short Film Collection and contains both Cigarettes & Coffee and The Dirk Diggler Story (a 30 min, 1988 precursor to BOOGIE NIGHTS) on a single DVD-R.
The quality (which the site warns you about) is copied from a badly beat-up VHS. But seeing as they're still watchable, and I'd never seen either film before, I now feel semi-complete.

Looks like this site is the only site with the highest quality one. I got mine from Rustedrare but it's not too great.
