shareI believe it is the Ohio one. Most production was done in Ohio and Indiana. I live in Anderson, Indiana, and picked the movie up at the library because I just liked the name (and there is a Pioneer League team from there... just wondered what it would be like.) Little did I know I would be seeing the town I live in.
Edit: In the DVD, the producer even says it is a city in Ohio... so there you go.
Actually, it's definitely in Ohio. If you watch the end of the movie, when they do the whole "chillicothe" bit, the license plates are Ohio plates. Yeah, I checked, and also checked to see if I recognized the road they filmed on, since grew up about 20 miles away from chillicothe. No such luck, I'll have to watch it again. Looked like 104 on the north side towards circleville.

That gum you like, it's coming back in style.
I am thinking that is a road outside of Anderson, IN or Tulsa. Watching the DVD, extras, they never say they went to Ohio for filming.
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.
I grew up just outside of Anderson, Indiana where half of this movie was filmed.
I am 95% certain the car crash scene was filmed north of Anderson (to get way more specific than I should, probably 700N or so).
Fantastic movie that isn't known well enough.
None of this was shot in Chillicothe, Ohio. I live there and there is nothing in there that is recognizable from that area. Alot of the housing and roads seem familiar/similar, but, thats because the designs are very similar between Ohio and Indiana. Good ole Hollywood magic.
shareThat's correct. This movie was filmed on locations in Tulsa, OK.
