As far as I can remember, there was never any reference to either Mrs Kit Walker (Phantom) or Mrs Lothar in the series.

We know Rick's mother (unnamed in the cartoon but confirmed as Dale Arden in the comic) died in the first episode, and Kshin's parents were both killed when he was very young, but whatever became of the other two?

My best guess is that Jedda's mother is dead, I find it unlikely that any wife would leave her daughter with a husband who is so frequently involved in dangerous situations. A son, if he chose to stay with his father, maybe, but never a daughter.

I couldn't guess about LJ's mother, though. There doesn't seem to be anything (at least from the episodes I have - "Lothar's Homecoming" may reveal more, I only ever saw it once as a kid) to suggest anything either way.

As for Mandrake, one suspects that he has always been a bachelor. Atascadero in "The Lost Jewels Of Tibet" supports this idea. If it's not that, then there was probably another big fling in his youth that ended tragically. Any thoughts?

LJ's and Jedda's mothers are off with Jonny Quest's mother, all at the same tupperware party.

Mrs. Quest was never mentioned in the original cartoon, tho she did appear in an 80s movie cartoon of the show, which I believe sought to introduce a daughter for Race, and not by Jade.
