Has anybody found any information on just who or what the hell this 'Ice

Cream Bunny" character is? The movie seems to imply that, at the very least, someone in the audience would recognize him, but they never say just why. Was he a character at Pirates World? Was he meant to be in other movies? Why isn't Google giving me any answers?!

He may have been intended to be the Easter Bunny but, since they either forgot to get or couldn't afford a basket filled with painted eggs, they decided that would been confusing and so claled him the Ice Cream Bunny instead.

...

At least, that's the closest to a logical reason I can think of.

Seriously, I thought he was coming to deliver poor santa ice cream to cool him off!
