Is this the movie where we see the police officer?

Is this the movie where she sees a duplicate of the uniformed officer at the end? I remember that the lead actress tried to tell this officer that people were being replaced, but he didn't believe her. She sees the duplicate right after she has talked to real officer and seems to get a funny look on her face. Then they go to the credits.
I remember that the duplicate officer comes out of the water right before she leaves the officer. I think she thought the invasion was over until she saw the duplicate officer.

Does Yasmine Bleeth's character actually escape in the end? I only saw a small portion of the movie. I saw the beginning, maybe a little in between, and the ending.

I saw your answer to this question on the sand lot. One more thing. Does the duplicate police officer actually come out of the lake or some other body of water? I kind of think they used a different source of water at the end of the movie.

Weren't bodies of water all over the world having the "wormhole" thing occurring by the end of the movie?
