EXTREMELY well made

This movie doesn't suffer at all from the 'little movie syndrome' that so many other indie's suffer from. The cast consist of really good actors and they all deliver good performances. In addition, the continuity doesn't suffer at all like so many other low budget movies. When I first saw this back in 1999, I honestly wouldn't have guessed that it was low budget and so many of the other secrets of the production that the director lets us know about in his commentary on the dvd. Anyway, I love this movie and it's got an excellent soundtrack to boot. The 1990s were a great time for gay movies and this is the leader of the pack!

I agree. This is one of those classic queer films that is going to stand the test of time long into the future.

My only complaint is the treatment of Perry. I think the script was unduly harsh to him, for no particular reason.

The style, humor, and music in this film really raise it up from being just another movie. I too am glad to have seen it when it was first released, and I'm happy to report it's just as enjoyable today.

Trust me if your a gay male you will love this film. It deals with issues that hit close to home. Mainly it deals with the emotions of a gay mans heart with style and class! When I saw the film in 1998 I could not believe there was a film like this. It deal with gay men and the impossibilities of some romances.

To me the film hit so close to home that I couldn't see it again for years not because it was bad it was because it held up a mirror to my recent past.

Sean Hayes got his part on "Will & Grace" because of this film. It was a great showcase for Sean. He delivers. Once you see this film you will never forget it! Even if your straight it will be hard to hate this film. .
