How did this movie end?

Could anyone tell me how this movie ended?

I borrowed the dvd from the library -- and being so old, it was scratched -- it stalled several times, and I even had to start it again and fast forward to approximately where it had stalled, a bit beyond that.

It stalled just as Billy was meeting Joshua -- at about 1 hour and 29 minutes --I tried fast forwarding, and got some of the voice over by Billy at the end, but then it stalled and I couldn't get it to advance, so I just stopped it.

The dvd box indicates it is 92 minutes long, so I don't think I missed much, but I'd like to to be sure that I didn't miss anything significant.

Thought the movie was good -- especially enjoyed the music -- and I generally don't pay attention to the music in movie, but the music in this movie made a very favorable impression.

Gabe is now involved with a man but not Billy. Billy also finds out someone he has known for years has had a major crush on him. The film however ends with Billy still sadly unattached but still hopeful.

Well, that's the bird's eye view and it's not wrong, but I think the OP wanted more details.

Indeed the OP didn't miss much. Billy's introduced to Joshua and Billy shows Joshua his Polaroid camera. The movie camera pulls back as Billy begins to tell Joshua the history of his Polaroid camera (which we all know isn't long because he threw his old camera into the ocean off Catalina) and the scene fades.
