Isn't Elvis Costello in it???

One of the user summaries comments that Elvis Costello does not appear in the movie, but I'm pretty sure I spotted him - when Lucy and Kevin are talking on the street about how Kevin should really have sex on his birthday, I think it's Elvis Costello who walks between them. Either that or a look-alike; Either way, I think it was clever/cute on the director's part.

Yes that is him. He does make a small apperence in this movie for some odd reason.

He's also in the photos shown during the credits. He was at the party.

reply

it is Elvis costello. he was in the pics of the party 2. He was in another scene but he covered himself

reply

if you can't recognize him in the pics, just read the credits

reply

yeah its on tv now, i flicked on at that exact part...i was like wtf?? haha

reply

yeah, at first i couldn't believe it but then there were pics at the end, so. It, like, made the movie.

reply

it was hysterical that Martha Plimpton passed out and didn't get the chance to hang with Elvis but the photos are hysterical!

I love this movie but I love it more because it actually shows some appreciation for Elvis Costello, the music and the man.

Don't judge a book by it's movie.

Elvis Costello was very close to The Beat / English Beat and their song Save It for Later is covered in this movie

For the few seconds he was on camera, he was the best thing in the movie. It is something else standing a few feet from him, it's electric. He popped my musical cherry in 1978.
