I was trying to find the name of the actor who plays Mel, so I looked at the cast summary, but I don't see the names of any of the stars of the cast. Can someone please help me?

shareI was just looking at that myself after catching it on TV1 in reruns. I don't know how I missed this show before but it is great!!! This cast really works well together and the writing is good.
The actor who plays Mel is James Lesure- the valet/sidekick to Danny on Las Vegas (NBC).
I don't know why they don't show up on the actual CAST summary either. But I agree with you. This show is off the chain!!! They did such a good job, up to Reggie left the show. I didn't care for Uncle Omar and the relationship between he & Bobbi.
shareIf you click on the MORE button below the cast list, it will take you to the expanded cast list which includes the main cast. James Lesure played "Mel Ellis".
The reason it doesn't seem to include them in the main page probably has to do with the way the Episode System works. Placement seems to be dependent on the number of episodes that they're confirmed to be involved in. Since they're listed as "Unknown" they're on the bottom of the list. It's probably an automated system, so to fix that, someone would have to tinker with the data that's used to generate the page.
