Why did Edafe Blackmon (Reggie) leave the show?
shareCan't remember where I read this but I read that the show was put on hiatus for awhile and it looked like it was going to be cancelled but when it was brought back he had made other commitments. I remember it bouncing on and off the Wb schedule and just when I thought it was cancelled it came back in midseason with new episodes. Eugene Byrd's character was seemingly filling Edafe Blackmon's slot in the show. Funny that right after Reggie married Tamala Jones the actor bounced from the series.
shareI was wondering that also, why Reggie left the show? I love this show I watch it three times a day--a little obessive, but the episodes are new to me as I am seeing them for the first time. Although Edafe Blackmon may have made other commitments he never appeared in anything else since the show.

I was an avid follower of the show, and I'm still confused to this day as to how it ended.
I do remember the WB continually bringing it back, then putting it on hiatus, then reruns, etc, for the final season.
Did it even get a proper finale or were their cliff-hangers?
